FOOD FOUNDERS Studio raises €4m to build foodtech ventures
The Zurich studio will develop new companies around technologies with a defined industrial customer.
FOOD FOUNDERS Studio has closed an oversubscribed €4 million funding round to build its next foodtech ventures. The Swiss company plans to identify and secure technologies, recruit founding teams and develop businesses serving food and beverage manufacturers.
The studio is broadening its search beyond universities to startups and corporate research programmes with unused technology. It first assesses industrial demand, technical performance and intellectual property, then co-founds ventures and supports validation and commercial partnerships. Its investors have not been named.
