Firenze raises £750,000 pre-seed for investment-backed lending
The fintech plans to grow its team and onboard wealth managers offering loans against investment portfolios.
Firenze announced a £750,000 oversubscribed pre-seed round on May 2, 2024, to build its lending platform for wealth managers. The company helps clients borrow against investment portfolios while keeping their investments in place.
The round brought together fintech angels and operators, including Amir Nooriala, Charles Delingpole, Ricky Knox, Keith Grose, Michele Attisani and Stephen Lemon. Firenze also reported backing from scout and angel vehicles associated with venture firms.
The funding was intended to expand the team and bring its first wealth-management partners onto the platform.
