finmid adds €17m to Series A for embedded lending expansion

Big Pi Growth leads the extension as finmid expands vehicle and marketplace financing.

finmid has raised a €17 million Series A extension, led by Big Pi Growth with participation from Main Set and existing investor Earlybird. The additional financing brings the Series A to €40 million, following its €23 million initial close announced in April 2024. The company’s total equity funding across stages now stands at €52 million.

The Berlin company will develop asset financing, funding infrastructure and underwriting, alongside an Athens hub. New programmes include vehicle loans for Bolt fleet operators and financing for merchants on Skroutz, broadening its lending products beyond short-term working capital.
