Fina raises $1m seed round for Venezuelan small-business software
SquareOne Capital and Tomorrow Capital co-led the oversubscribed financing.
Management software becomes a route to financial services
Fina says more than 5,000 businesses use its platform. Their daily sales, inventory and financial records provide a foundation for additional services, including a small-business credit pilot with a banking partner.
The round also attracted Norte Ventures, Platanus, Neer Venture Partners and five individual angels with experience building Latin American software and fintech companies. Earlier investments of $100,000 and $350,000 are separate from this seed round.
