Eyedentity closes SEK15 million first investment round

Norrsken Launcher leads the financing as the Swedish company tests AI-assisted eye screening with Synologen.

Eyedentity is starting with an encounter that already happens at the optician: a routine photograph of the back of the eye. Its initial clinical focus is uveal melanoma, where identifying a suspicious lesion can trigger referral for specialist assessment.

A live pilot with Synologen gives the team a setting to test that workflow in independent optician practices. The company is still working toward regulatory approval; this first financing backs the transition from clinical development toward a product that can be used more broadly in eye care.
