Eyedentity develops AI decision support that helps eye-care professionals identify suspicious lesions in routine retinal photographs.
Product
Eyedentity analyses fundus photographs already taken during an eye examination. Its first application, Melanoma Score, assesses signs of uveal melanoma and helps clinicians decide when a patient needs specialist review. The software is designed to fit existing eye-care equipment and workflows.
Founded by machine-learning specialist Mats Holmström and ophthalmology researcher Gustav Stålhammar, the Stockholm company is developing its first product toward regulatory approval. It is testing the technology with Synologen, a Swedish network of independent opticians.
