Ethris secures €30m EIB financing for respiratory mRNA development
The HERA Invest agreement supports clinical development of respiratory treatments and pandemic-preparedness programmes.
HERA-backed financing for the clinical portfolio
Ethris and the European Investment Bank announced the €30 million agreement under HERA Invest on September 11. The financing is backed by the European Commission’s Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority.
The agreement supports further clinical development of Ethris’s respiratory mRNA portfolio for chronic respiratory disease and pandemic preparedness. Its lead antiviral candidate, ETH47, encodes interferon lambda to strengthen local airway immune defences.
