FRONTEO backs ER Stress Research Institute in diabetes biomarker project
An investment accompanies research aimed at identifying patients who could benefit from the company’s ERS drug candidate.
Matching a candidate to a patient group
The project combines ER Stress Research Institute’s biology expertise with FRONTEO’s Drug Discovery AI Factory. The teams will explore biomarker candidates and generate hypotheses to help identify patient groups for future development of ERS.
The work is part of DDAIF Innovation Bridge, which pairs technical support with investment. FRONTEO says it will invest alongside the project agreement; the amount was not disclosed. The research seeks markers of potential response rather than establishing clinical efficacy.
