Certification for nature-based projects

Formerly known as ERS, Equitable Earth combines a digital certification platform with centralized carbon accounting and remote sensing. Its standard assesses climate, ecological and livelihood outcomes and sets requirements for Indigenous and local-community participation and benefit sharing.

Scaling the certification programme

The capital will fund data and modelling tools, engineering and certification hires, and methodologies covering additional ecosystems. The round was led by an unnamed US family office, with existing investors AENU, noa and LocalGlobe participating.
