Targeting the tissue around cells

The extracellular matrix helps shape the environment in which tumors and fibrosis develop. Engitix uses detailed ECM datasets to identify disease-associated signatures and develop therapies intended to act within those tissue environments. Its research combines data analysis, translational biology and drug development.

Advancing preclinical therapies

Netherton Investments, investing on behalf of existing backer Mike Platt, provided the additional financing. It supports the company’s solid-tumor and fibrosis pipeline and further application of its ECM platform. Engitix also has drug-discovery and development collaborations with Dompé and Takeda.
