Leonardo DiCaprio joins Elvy in an additional funding close
The actor backs the Swedish home energy subscription company as it expands customer referrals.
Elvy announced an investment from Leonardo DiCaprio on 8 October 2026 alongside the rollout of a customer referral platform. The company did not disclose the size of his investment.
The investment forms part of an additional close of the financing announced in May, according to EU-Startups. That earlier close raised SEK 70 million and was led by Daft Capital and Essential Capital.
Elvy supplies homeowners with integrated solar panels, batteries and heat pumps through an energy subscription. By owning and operating the equipment, it spreads the cost of an installation across the customer agreement.
The new referral platform lets existing customers help bring other households into the service. Elvy is expanding access to the systems and software that coordinate household energy use.
