Elucid raises $55m Series D to expand cardiovascular imaging software
The funding will accelerate commercialization of its CT-based diagnostic platform and continue AI research and clinical studies.
Reading plaque biology from routine CT scans
Elucid’s software analyses CT angiography to quantify plaque composition and vessel anatomy. Its Plaque-IQ product is FDA-cleared, and the platform is designed to help clinicians identify patients at elevated cardiovascular risk; FFR-CT adds a physiological assessment of blood flow through coronary arteries.
The $55 million Series D will support commercial expansion of the company’s clinical platform, continued AI research and development, and further clinical studies. The round builds on a product portfolio aimed at making detailed cardiovascular assessments available from existing imaging workflows.
