Turning CT scans into lesion-level cardiovascular insight

Elucid’s Plaque-IQ processes routine CT angiography and quantifies plaque composition at the patient, vessel and lesion levels. Its CT Virtual Histology approach is trained and validated against tissue histology, helping cardiologists and radiologists identify plaque features associated with cardiovascular risk in both coronary and carotid arteries. Plaque-IQ is FDA-cleared; the company is also developing related physiology-analysis products.

Cardiologists and radiologists use Plaque-IQ to add information about plaque biology to the anatomy visible in a CT scan. The software creates quantitative outputs that can support individualized risk assessment and follow-up decisions, using an existing non-invasive imaging workflow rather than requiring invasive tissue sampling.
