The investment backs the Indian commercial-mobility operation and is separate from Nomura’s commitment to the Singapore holding company.
Financing the Indian operating business
Avaana Capital led the ₹45 crore seed financing of Drivn’s Indian entity. Reporting describes approval and allotment of compulsorily convertible preference shares, with proceeds for business requirements and general corporate purposes.
The transaction is separate from the $80 million commitment the Singapore holding company secured from Nomura in February. The Indian business, which remained pre-revenue in FY26, is developing its electric commercial-vehicle offering and associated operating infrastructure.
