DermaSensor raises $4M Series B extension to expand device access
The FDA-cleared device adds an objective risk result to a clinician’s evaluation of suspicious lesions.
A point-of-care signal for lesion triage
Clinicians place the handheld probe on a lesion, and its light-scattering measurement is analyzed by an AI algorithm to return a risk score and guidance to investigate further or monitor. The result supports clinical assessment of possible skin cancer but does not replace diagnosis or physician judgment, giving primary-care teams an additional input when deciding whether further evaluation is needed.
