Daedal Systems raises $4.035 million for fusion diagnostics
The Toronto company is building standardized plasma measurement systems that fusion developers can use across reactor designs.
Measurement systems for different fusion machines
Daedal Systems develops plasma diagnostic equipment as a service, giving fusion companies independent measurements without requiring each developer to build its own instrumentation. The company is constructing its first three systems and preparing prototype deployments under pilot contracts. A research partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison supports the work as the company moves toward industrializing the measurement platform.
