Crescenta signs €4m debt facility from BlackRock-managed funds

The Spanish digital investment manager will use the financing for technology and business development following its €5m equity round in April.

Debt financing for the next stage of growth

Crescenta has signed a €4 million debt facility from funds and accounts managed by BlackRock. Announced on 26 October, the agreement will support technology innovation and business development at the Spanish digital investment manager.

The new facility follows a €5 million equity round in April, taking the combined financing announced over six months to €9 million. Endeavor Catalyst joined that earlier equity round alongside returning investors Kfund, FJ Labs and Acurio Ventures.

Investment in the platform

Crescenta uses a digital platform to give individual and professional investors access to private-equity funds. The debt adds financing for the manager’s technology and commercial operations as it develops that business.
