CloudNC adds Series B extension for AI precision-machining software
Its CAM Assist software works inside existing machine-shop systems, generating machining strategies and CNC code for expert review.

CAM Assist plugs into existing computer-aided manufacturing systems and analyzes a part model to recommend machining operations, toolpaths and cutting parameters. Programmers can configure it for a shop’s machines, materials, tools and fixtures, then edit and approve suggestions before code reaches CNC equipment.
From programming to quoting
CloudNC tests its AI in its own precision-machining factory, and more than 1,000 machine shops use CAM Assist worldwide. The company is extending the software into job quoting: Quote Agent assesses the cost and risk of proposed work, helping shops respond to customer requests with less manual estimating.
