Circle raises ₹25 crore seed round led by Nexus

The Bengaluru resale marketplace is preparing to take its managed trading model into more Indian cities.

Circle has built its initial marketplace in Bengaluru, where it says more than one million visitors have generated 100,000 listings in its first year. It reports roughly ₹25 crore of completed pre-owned sales, giving the young business a base of transactions on which to build its next stage.

Repeat use is central to that expansion: Circle says nearly 40% of buyers return within 90 days and half of sellers list again. Its challenge as it enters more cities is to reproduce both that local trading activity and the verification and pickup service that supports it.
