C1 names €13.3m Innovation Fund support for METHANOL.ONE
The Leuna demonstration plant will develop renewable methanol production.

C1 Green Chemicals said on October 20, 2026 that METHANOL.ONE had been selected for €13.3 million in Innovation Fund support. The project remains in grant-agreement preparation following the Commission’s October 19 selection.
C1 plans a green-methanol demonstration plant in Leuna using its homogeneous catalysis technology. The company says the plant is designed to produce 20 tonnes a day and support future licensing customers.
