Human cells for repeatable drug research

Its ioCells products give laboratories human cell models for research and preclinical safety work. The company uses cell programming to turn induced pluripotent stem cells into selected functional cell types, helping researchers run consistent experiments without relying solely on animal models.

Expanding beyond discovery applications

M&G Investments led the $50 million round. Funding will support product development, manufacturing and international operations, as well as the company’s move into toxicology. It also plans to generate experimental datasets for training AI models used in drug discovery.
