Retrofitting the equipment contractors already use

The company works with contractors on autonomy for earthmoving and infrastructure construction. Its supervised deployment in November 2025 tested the technology on a large excavation project rather than a laboratory demonstration.

Moving toward operation without an onboard driver

Bedrock was targeting its first fully operator-less excavator deployments in 2026. The investment brings total funding above $350 million and supports the autonomy capabilities and contractor tools needed for that transition.
