From test stands to industrial operations

Revel began with software for aerospace hardware tests. Its platform combines real-time telemetry, hardware-independent control and safe command execution. The company reported that engine test-stand setups fell from 14 days to eight hours and that Impulse Space ran more than 80 instances of RevelTest.

Expanding the platform

Index Ventures led the $150 million Series B, with Redpoint Ventures and returning investors Thrive Capital, Felicis and Abstract Ventures. Revel will hire and develop adjacent products as it expands into industrial control for energy, defense, manufacturing and other complex physical systems.
