Baseten handles the production layer that runs models for application requests. Its customers include Abridge, Clay, Cursor, OpenEvidence, Mercor and Notion, with inference volume growing 100-fold over the previous year.

A third financing in twelve months

The Series E values Baseten at $5 billion and supports investments in speed, uptime and developer experience. The company sees increasingly compute-intensive reasoning models and wider enterprise adoption driving demand for inference.
