Aventix raises €1.2m as its lab measurement system enters early access
Scarlett 01 measures microplate volumes without touching the liquid.
Measure dispensing without disturbing samples
Scarlett 01 measures liquid volume in microplate wells without contacting samples. Research teams can use the scan to check whether a dispenser delivers consistent volumes across a plate while keeping samples available for downstream assays.
In one evaluation, VTT MIKES compared measurements of 10 µL DMSO across a 384-well plate with a gravimetrically calibrated reference. The comparison gives laboratories a concrete benchmark for Scarlett 01 readings in a plate-based workflow.
Moving into lab workflows
Aventix has opened a limited Early Access Program for research teams in Europe and North America. The company plans to expand applications, grow its applications and software teams, and develop additional analytical capabilities on its sensor platform.
