Autobia raises $2.5 million seed round

Sadu Capital led the financing to expand the Saudi automotive-parts marketplace.

Autobia announced a $2.5 million seed round on June 6, 2023, led by Sadu Capital. Wa’ed Ventures, Raz Holding, Techstars and a group of angel investors also participated.

The Saudi company will use the funding to expand domestically, enter adjacent automotive aftersales segments, hire staff and develop its technology. Its B2B platform lets retailers and repair shops order wholesale spare parts through an application.

Autobia combines a supplier network with digital ordering and fulfilment infrastructure. At the time of the financing, it operated fulfilment centres in Riyadh and Jeddah. The investment supports a more coordinated route from wholesalers to the businesses that need parts.
