ARX announced a €1.15 million pre-seed round on September 19, 2023, led by Project A. The German company develops unmanned ground robots for defense and civilian emergency applications.
Its universal platform accepts different payloads, allowing one vehicle architecture to support several tasks. Early applications included realistic military training, field data collection and transporting communications equipment into difficult terrain.
The company combines robotic hardware with software for autonomous operation. Its initial product approach focused on smaller ground systems that can take on dangerous or repetitive tasks while helping operators work at a safer distance.
