Aron raises $6m seed round for AI procurement operator
Storm Ventures led the seed financing for Aron’s AI Chief of Staff, which works across procurement teams’ existing systems.
An AI operator across procurement workflows
Aron builds a knowledge graph from spend, supplier, contract and project information, then uses that context to identify savings and carry out tactical sourcing and contracting work. Teams can hand it requests through email, Teams, Slack or a file drop; it can run requests for quotation, redline contracts, check invoices against negotiated terms and follow up with suppliers, with human approvals remaining in the workflow.
The funding announcement describes a separate $2 million pre-seed led by Menlo Ventures in addition to this $6 million seed round, for $8 million across the two financings. Aron says its customers range from mid-market companies to Fortune 10 firms.
