Aranya raises $9m seed round for GPU cluster operating system
First Round Capital led the seed financing as Aranya expands deployments of its open-source clusterdOS engine.
Turning bare metal into GPU clusters
Aranya’s clusterdOS uses Kubernetes to configure bare-metal servers into production-ready GPU clusters, handling drivers, networking, storage and monitoring. Its multicluster tools give operators a single interface for managing compute environments and diagnosing or remediating failures.
The company says it manages more than $500 million in GPU infrastructure. The September financing included a separate $2 million pre-seed round; the current seed round was $9 million, and the two together bring the reported total to $11 million.
