Apolarion completes Venture Kick with CHF100,000 final-stage financing
The convertible loan brings the programme's cumulative support to CHF150,000 and will help fund seed-treatment field trials.
Venture Kick announced Apolarion's completion of its three-stage programme on November 3, 2026. The final stage provides CHF100,000 as a convertible loan, following an initial CHF10,000 grant and CHF40,000 second-stage loan.
Apolarion will use the funding to run its first field trials, including the facilities, equipment and people needed for the pilot programmes. The work is intended to bring its chemical-free seed-treatment system closer to market.
The EPFL spinout was founded by plasma physicists Jesus Poley and Luke Simons. Its modular device uses particles generated from air and electricity to target seed pathogens while preserving germination.
