ANote Music raises €2 million to expand its royalty marketplace
Rights holders can list music-catalogue interests for auction, while investors can trade and track royalty payouts.
A market for catalogue interests
Labels, publishers, artists and other rights holders can offer a portion of future royalties from established music catalogues. Investors review the catalogue data and listing terms, then bid in a primary auction; each share represents a contractual claim on a proportional part of future payouts.
Trading and distributions after the auction
Investors can monitor catalogue performance and upcoming distributions in a portfolio view, then place buy or sell orders on ANote’s secondary market. Its distribution engine credits holders according to their share of each catalogue and its payout schedule.
