Amara raises €3.7 million pre-seed to grow its voice-first home device
The product lets older adults contact family and use digital services through spoken commands instead of app menus.
A home interface built around voice
Amara Home is designed for older adults who may find conventional apps, passwords and device setup difficult. Family members connect and configure the system, while the person at home can start conversations, share photos and messages, and use reminders, games, radio and other services through voice.
The display and base arrive ready to use, making the interface simpler for people who want to stay in touch without learning a collection of apps.
Capital for product development and growth
Amara announced a €3.7 million pre-seed round on September 29, with Econa, Caesar VC and IBB Ventures participating. The company plans to further develop the technology and prepare for its next growth stage.
