ACIMUS raises about ¥65m seed for conversational building models
Link Capital Fund I leads the round, with Incubate Fund and JR East Startup participating.
JR East Startup’s investment follows a pilot that used existing station drawings to produce simplified building information models for maintenance. The trial indicated that model-creation time could be reduced.
The railway group gives ACIMUS a practical setting for applying conversational design tools to existing assets. That complements the company’s work with construction firms and architects on earlier stages of building design.
Use of funds
Expand conversion of existing building drawings into BIM models and station-building pilots.
Develop early design, structural and regulatory checking tools and support production adoption.
