Running driving models inside the vehicle
Its X7 system-on-chip combines an Armv9 CPU with a neural processor designed for end-to-end driving models. The chip integrates camera and lidar processing, high-speed Ethernet and PCIe connections, and a safety microcontroller so manufacturers can build urban driver-assistance systems around one computing platform.
XHEART describes X7 as a mass-production product and works with driving-software company Momenta and operating-system supplier QNX. The company also targets robotics, where larger models similarly need to process sensor input and make decisions on the device.
