A biotechnology company developing nanoparticle delivery systems and immunotherapies that target macrophages and dendritic cells in diseased tissue.
United Immunity’s Myeloid Targeting Platform uses two pullulan-based nanoparticle technologies: PNP for small molecules, peptides and proteins, and PEG-free P-LNP for nucleic acids such as mRNA and DNA. The particles are designed to deliver therapeutic payloads to macrophages and dendritic cells, including cells in diseased tissues.
The platform supports programs in cancer and other immune-related diseases. Its lead program, UI-102, is a PNP-encapsulated TLR7/8 agonist being evaluated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial for advanced solid tumors; the company is also developing in-vivo macrophage-engineering approaches.
