A peptide-targeting platform is advancing conjugate and radioligand therapies for solid tumors.
TwoStep’s engineered polyspecific integrin-binding peptide, PIP, recognizes five tumor-associated integrins. Because these targets appear across many solid tumors and can vary within a tumor, PIP is designed to broaden tumor recognition beyond a therapy aimed at a single target.
The company links PIP to different treatment payloads: its lead peptide-drug conjugate TS-104 carries the cytotoxic drug MMAE, while the platform also supports radioligand therapies. TwoStep is advancing TS-104 through Phase 1 oncology development and building its pipeline; these are clinical-stage programs rather than marketed treatments.
