A Saudi platform connecting employers, employees and partner merchants through a salary-linked purchase balance: employers set limits, employees buy through the app, and purchases are repaid from salary.
TalMal gives employees a monthly purchase balance at participating stores, with the employer setting each employee's limit as a percentage of salary. Employees use the app to see their available balance and track orders; purchases are repaid later through a salary deduction under the arrangement with the employer.
Employers connect employee and payroll data and set spending limits, shifting recurring salary-advance requests into a defined purchasing program. Merchants contract with TalMal to reach employees with available balances, while employees shop through the partner network. The company announced a pre-seed round as it moved from product and business-model validation toward commercial expansion in Saudi Arabia; its website describes the app and employer, employee and merchant workflows as available product features.
