Soufflé Therapeutics
United States · Biotech
Soufflé Therapeutics develops targeted RNA medicines for patients with muscle disorders and heart failure.
Getting RNA medicines into the intended cells
Soufflé combines receptor discovery, targeting ligands and small interfering RNA engineering. Its REMEDY platform searches for receptors that take material into particular cell types, then develops binders to carry a therapeutic payload through that route. The aim is to reach disease-relevant tissues beyond the liver.
Muscle and heart programs
The initial pipeline includes facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, and a muscle and metabolic program whose target remains undisclosed. The heart-failure candidate targets the phospholamban gene in heart muscle cells. Soufflé says clinical-trial enrollment began in 2026, while additional tissue-targeted programs remain in preclinical development.
