SiccaNova's XF8302 is a positive allosteric modulator of the muscarinic M3 receptor. It is designed to amplify receptor activation by the body's acetylcholine, with dry mouth associated with Sjögren's syndrome as an initial development focus.

The Tsukuba company is preparing clinical development in that indication while advancing manufacturing, nonclinical studies and regulatory work. It is also exploring related applications, including dry eye.
