Reclinker turns recovered cement paste from demolition waste into clinker inside the electric arc furnaces used to recycle steel. The process co-produces steel and cement material while reducing the need for conventional cement kilns.
The University of Cambridge spin-out has tested its process at 7 Steel UK’s Cardiff plant and secured initial commercial sales. It is scaling production in South Wales and exploring deployment at additional furnace sites in Europe and the United States.
