Persona develops a personal AI assistant accessed through messages and a planned wearable band.

Persona helps people carry out everyday tasks such as arranging travel, ordering food, taking notes and handling email. Its first public product is an iMessage-based assistant, with an app and a wearable band in development.
Founder Zach Yadegari previously co-founded Cal AI, which MyFitnessPal acquired in 2026. Persona’s planned band uses a button or wrist gesture to activate the assistant, rather than continuously recording the wearer’s surroundings.
The AI processing runs in the cloud. Persona says purchases require user approval and external payment providers handle card details. The company operates as Iris Assistant, Inc., with a listed address in Miami.
