NOVUS builds the NOVUS One, an electric two-wheeler combining a motorcycle’s performance with simple operation for everyday city travel. Its carbon-fibre construction incorporates the battery into the frame, and the vehicle has no clutch or conventional gears.
Founded in 2019 and based in Braunschweig, Germany, the company began delivering vehicles to European customers in spring 2026. Founder and CEO René Renger previously worked as an automotive designer at Volkswagen.
NOVUS sells directly and is developing retail partnerships where riders can test its vehicles. Its next steps include a lower-priced second model and an expansion into California planned for 2027.
