NourishAI is building precision nutrition tools for people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The EPFL-based team combines multiomics measurements with clinical and lifestyle information to understand how nutrient needs and responses differ between patients.
The project originated in Johan Auwerx’s Laboratory of Integrative Systems Physiology and is led by Asya Dolgikh. Its initial clinical work focuses on validating predictive models in ALS so clinicians can explore personalised nutrition alongside existing care. The longer-term research direction includes other neuromuscular and metabolic conditions.
