MOT manages manga creators and operates Kakikomi, an online school taught by working manga artists and editors.
Supporting creators’ working lives
MOT handles scheduling, business enquiries, meetings and social-media support for manga artists and animators. Its role is to help creators manage the work around producing their art, including commercial and overseas opportunities.
Training through Kakikomi
Kakikomi combines video lessons in storyboarding, drawing and character development with small-group critiques and a community. It also arranges meetings where students can show work to publishing editors. The school launched in April 2026.
