Monix is developing a wearable skin patch and software to measure hormones continuously, beginning with fertility and IVF care. The system is designed to show changing hormone patterns between clinic visits, giving women and care teams more frequent information than isolated laboratory measurements.
Its biosensor work combines biology, chemistry and engineering. Monix works with CSEM at Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area on sensing hormones through interstitial fluid. The wearable remains in development, with clinical validation ahead of wider use.
