Nanoscale metrology tools that help semiconductor manufacturers inspect structures beneath chip surfaces.
MAKR is developing subsurface imaging for chipmakers, including Acoustic Atomic Force Microscopy, optical tomography and 3D analytics. Acoustic sensing can reveal structures hidden beneath opaque semiconductor layers, where conventional optical inspection cannot see.
The products target semiconductor manufacturing and inspection teams that need finer subsurface measurements. The company is validating its tools with customers and preparing for commercial deployment; its official site describes the technology as under development.
