HighLife’s transcatheter mitral valve replacement system delivers a replacement valve through a catheter inserted via the femoral vein. Its valve-in-ring approach is designed for patients whose existing surgical repair ring can serve as an anchor for the replacement valve.

The device is intended for structural-heart teams treating mitral-valve disease. HighLife is moving through clinical and regulatory milestones: its September financing supports a US pivotal study and European commercialization, while the investigational program remains distinct from routine approved use in the United States.
