Greptile
United States · Developer tools · AI
Greptile builds an AI code-review and validation platform that checks software changes against the context of a team’s codebase.
Product
Greptile helps engineering teams check whether a proposed code change works as intended and whether it may break other parts of an application. It reviews pull requests with context from the wider codebase, serving as a validation layer alongside coding tools.
The San Francisco company was founded in 2023 by Daksh Gupta, Soohoon Choi and Vaishant Kameswaran and joined Y Combinator’s Winter 2024 batch. It serves software teams using both human-written and AI-generated code.
Greptile says thousands of teams use its platform, including Nvidia, Coinbase, Decagon and Vanta. Its product direction is to automate more of the review and testing work that determines whether a change is ready to merge.
