Making factory-floor information visible

GEMBA lets manufacturing teams place improvement issues and inspection information directly on their existing factory-layout drawings. Staff can use the map from a phone or tablet to see where a problem was reported, track its follow-up and share a common view with managers without replacing established work routines.

The app is designed for factories where paper forms and spreadsheets make shop-floor conditions difficult to share and where large IT systems can be hard to adopt. GEMBA is building toward broader use of accumulated floor data for decision support and knowledge sharing, while its current focus is visualizing improvement work and equipment management.
