Flox Intelligence uses edge AI and bioacoustics to move wildlife away from dangerous infrastructure and monitor animal activity.
Product
Flox began as a 2020 spinout from an AI laboratory at KTH in Stockholm. It now lists its US headquarters in Syracuse, New York, alongside a Stockholm office.
Its devices identify animals on site and respond with species-appropriate sounds. Infrastructure operators use the system at airports, railways, roads and other locations, with a software platform for deployment monitoring and reporting.
